Doing anal issues

My fiancé enjoys doing anal and it puts me in such horrid pain. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to make it not hurt so bad. He uses Vaseline and it doesn’t help at all. I literally hate doing it and I’ve explained that many time but it seems to be his favorite thing so his persists on it. Anyways thank you in advance
