periods every other week

I have PCOS , and recently started back on metformin and Spirolactone, to regulate me again from weight gain and no periods ,for over a year. Since being back on meds now I have periods /spotting every other week , an even worse....hormonal acne .....can anyone relate? I feel like a girl starting her period for the very 1st time ,at 25!
