Is it safe to use over the counter medications. Im so itchy.....

My dr told me to only insert it 1/3 of the way, but mine went away on its own so I didn't have to use it.

I had one and Dr said take over the counter but I told her I rather take Diflucan so she gave me a script

See your doctor. Depending on how far along you are, and your and baby's current condition will play a factor into the meds they give you.

Definitely go see the doctor. I just had one and luckily it was super mild but I'd never had one before and the itching was driving me out of my mind. In the interim try a baking soda rinse until you get in to see the doctor.

I would definitely go to the doctors, they will give you something safe (or at least safer) for you and baby during pregnancy.
