Should i feed my baby at night??

Question

For the most part, my son slept through the night since he was born.
We transitioned to the crib and it has been horrible! He wakes up constantly and screams. Last night he woke up crying probably 10-15 times between bedtime and 1 AM.
At 1 I gave in and gave him a bottle. He then slept 1-9.
My question is, should I be feeding him in this situation? I’m concerned because he’s used to not having a bottle in the middle of the night, and I don’t want to create a habit or expectation that he eats in the middle of the night. 
I don’t want to starve him though, and because he is awake he knows he is hungry 😩

Idn if this is necessarily the “right” thing to do, but I try to settle my son as much as possible, but if he still wakes up, I do feed him.

When my son was going through what we now know is him getting his first tooth I fed him in the middle of the night. You do what you can to survive. That’s my motto lol. I think it’s just a phase and being in the new crib. Give it some time. It didn’t create a habit for my son, he’s now back to sleep all night. Do what’s best for you and your baby and your sleep!

We try to settle her,  if a paci isn't working and she went go back to sleep then I give her a bottle. She usually sleeps from about 9 to 5 takes a bottle then back to bed until 8.

If he is waking up multiple times then yes, feed him because he is probably hungry.

With my oldest he would go back and forth between needing a feed and not, I think it had to do with growth spurts. I’d always give him 20 minutes to try and settle before feeding. Sometimes he needed it sometimes he didn’t. I stopped night time bottles at the year mark and he didn’t seem to miss them.

My baby has slept through the night since two months, but maybe once a week or so she’s up and screaming in the middle of the night. If we can’t calm her with bouncing and burping, we give her 4oz of formula (so we don’t care as much if she doesn’t end up drinking it all) and she goes back to sleep. 
We’ve been doing this for months, but she will still mostly sleep through the night and doesn’t always need the bottle when she wakes up. 
So I say go for it, especially if it helps everyone get back to sleep sooner.
