Is it bad to call out of work because of a yeast infection?

I started my first job ever about 2 weeks ago and i’m now experiencing itchiness in my crotch area and weird discharge. Same day, I go to the doctor, and i’m told i have a yeast infection! I have a 5 hour shift tomorrow which isn’t bad but I’m genuinely in so much pain and itchiness and pain from itching. Please help

It depends on your job. Did you get antibiotics? Take the full course and buy probiotics to take too.

I mean I wouldn’t especially if you’ve just started 2 weeks ago. They should have given you medication to help? If it’s truly unbearable then go for it but I wouldn’t call out more then a day or so. When I’m your probationary period they can fire you for literally any reason so multiple call outs is risky.

I have yeast infections every month. It's a medical condition. I still work with mine and sometimes I'm red raw from the pain and itchiness if you got the cream do it at night. and before you leave I normally put some around the outside and sides here my underwear sit. You'll be right you can also have a bath before you go to help with the swelling.
