Hey ladies, I wanted to see how common false negatives with home pregnancy tests are. The last week or so I’ve been having pregnancy symptoms so I took a test 5 days before my expected period. It was negative, so I thought it was probably too early to be accurate. I took another test this morning, which should be the first day of my period, and it was also negative. However, I’m not having my usual PMS symptoms, and I have a daughter already so this isn’t my first rodeo, and I’m totally feeling pregnant. Has anyone else experienced false negatives before or should I give up hope that I conceived this month? When pregnant with my daughter I took a test about a week after my period was due, so I’m hoping my body just doesn’t create enough hcg in my urine to detect too early.
