If a guy is interested you will definitely know?

So I’m just curious to hear other’s opinions. I’ve been told to never chase a man and if he is interested I’ll know and men like to chase. If he’s interested I’ll know! I personally like to shoot my shot but rejection hurts. What’s your opinion?

I got to the point where I would just start shooting my shot. The worst thing they can say is no so why not reach out & see? If not, you have your answer & you don’t waste anymore time & can move on. If so then great! See where it goes lol. 
My fiancé didnt really play those games when we met. He knew what he wanted & was straight up with me about it. He didn’t really want anything serious because he had just gotten out of a 3 year relationship. I knew that going in. I told him we could go on dates & get to know one another & see where it goes. From there, we started dating & now...almost 3 years later, we’re engaged to be married! 
It’s incredible what can happen & guys can change their minds too. I talked to guys before him that were really into me & then decided they weren’t & vice versa. Just depends I guess! 
When you meet that person though, you’ll definitely know. I knew my fiancé was the one when we met. Even though he said he didn’t want anything serious, I still wanted to be friends & get to know him because I just had a feeling & I was right. Trust your gut!!

I think the "never chasing a man" idea is misogyny & patriarchal. 
Like, why shouldn't I be direct about what I want just because I was born with a vag?

Sometimes shy guys give reeeeally subtle hints. I just recently realized (I’m in my 30s) that a guy friend I had 10 years ago was in love with me. I just never connected the dots until now so many years later looking back on it lol. Nothing ever came of it cause he was so shy. All the guys I dated (and now husband) were more straightforward about it.

A mature one will definitely let you know, but dont be afraid to be the first one to speak on it! Some of my most exciting times were when I made the first move! And I saved myself a lot of time on one guy who I thought FOR SURE was interested in me, but when I asked him, he only wanted sex. So I literally just stopped wasting my time. Communicating makes shit soooooo much easier

I asked my boyfriend out. We worked together at the time and I waited over a year to actually ask him. I always thought he was cute and figured why not. He had all these professional boundaries he didn’t wanna cross and probably never would have asked. Super glad I did because were trying for a baby and just bought our first house. Go for what you want!
