Anyone else not going to have an ultrasound until 20 weeks? I have so much anxiety with the long wait, but my doctor’s office says any ultrasounds before 20 weeks are medically unnecessary. I am 11 weeks. I’ve had my first appointment a month ago (where they did a urine test and pap), have had blood work done, and am going in for my next appointment later this week. It’s the worst not having been able to see anything or hear a heartbeat to just have reassurance and confirmation (even of a due date!) I am not looking to change providers or anything just wondering if this is common practice.
