Types of twins?

At how many weeks did people find out what type of twins they were having? I had my twelve week ultrasound today and the tech said she couldn’t tell for sure. My babies are in two separate sacks but they cannot tell if there are one or two placentas.

Hubby and I found out our twin boys were di/di twins at Week 8. ❤️

I didn't know until around 20 weeks because they couldn't find the membrane separating the babies for the longest time. They thought that they shared a sac AND a placenta, but they only shared a placenta. So I had mono/di.

Mine were confirmed at 6 weeks 6 days. Di/di (separate sacs, separate placentas.)
Mo/di is separate sacs, share placenta, and mo/mo is identical, they share everything.

I found out my identical twins were di/di at 6 weeks.

We knew at 9 wks that we were mono di identical twins

 But when I turned 16 weeks they started having a membrane separating them, but still one placenta. So now they are  mono/di

We knew at 8 weeks that they're di/di but won't know until after they're born if they're identical or fraternal.

I found out at my first ultrasound at 7 weeks. They could see separate sacs and almost didn’t catch the membrane separating them. They also found one placenta about two weeks later at my high risk doctor. I have mo/di twins. They could just be having a hard time. My ob thought she saw two placentas at my first appointment.
