I was 11 and it was already a 1cm calcified band, doctors believe it was destroyed in a car accident when I was 2.

I was 28 when I had mine removed. It was full of stones and had severe leasions and scaring on it. My recovery time was 6 weeks as my scar was a lot bigger than keyhole due to the size of the gall bladder

I had mine removed after my first child was born. Like just a few weeks. I apparently had huge stones. The healing took a bit longer for me because I had a c-section and then the laparoscopy for the gall bladder. Most people don't have to stay in the hospital overnight but I did.

17, March 2012, and had my Appendix removed to at the same time.
I felt better afterwards, they used staples to have the incisions heal
