I’m considering adding in a oz or so of formula to mix with my girls normal 2 bottles of breast milk every day. (She is EBF other than those two while I work from home and my mom watches her here). If I didn’t have to do bottles we’d have no problem because I produce just enough for her to be full after each nursing session, but those bottles are 5oz each (which is more than she gets with me), but she won’t settle for anything less. So I pump for those 2 bottles. Anyway- I need help figuring out how to add the formula in! I usually defrost her frozen breast milk in a water bowl/pot or under the sink and warm it in a warmer until room temperature-ish. I’m thinking of 3-4oz breastmilk and the rest formula for 5oz total. Do I make the BM in the warmer and formula in another cup and then merge them? I’ve never done anything with formula yet so I’m clueless how I can combine them.
