Baby sleeps 20 hours a day

🙂

On average, baby will sleep 14 consecutive hours overnight, starting at 7pm, then awake for about an hour, nap for 2 hours, awake for an hour, nap for 2-3 hours, then awake for 2 hours, then sleep for the night. Baby has been like this since about 6 months old after adding the evening nap into nighttime sleep. It varies sometimes, like baby entirely skipped all naps on Saturday and went to bed for the night at 6pm and didn't wake up until 11:30 the next morning.

We're due back at the doctor next week because baby still isn't gaining weight, hasn't eaten much in days, and I'm not sure if I should bring up the sleeping issue. Baby is definitely awake during awake times, but soon as that head hits the pillow so to speak, the child is out cold until awoken.
