After effects of epidural

Hopefully this is the right place to post this... My son will be 16 months Dec. 7th. I had a very crazy delivery... was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome at 31 weeks and was induced the day after being diagnosed and gave birth at 31+3. Planned on going 100% natural but with everything going on my dr. decided it would be best to get an epidural in case of C-section... 16 months later and my lower back and right hip ARE STILL NUMB!!!! My OB recommended going to a chiropractor but not sure how that would help. Was just wondering if anyone else has been through this and if so what helped. TIA
