My friend is pregnant and about a week ahead of me(13 weeks)

3 weeks ago she went to the doctor and was able to hear the babies heartbeat via doppler, yesterday she went in and the doctor spent 20 minutes trying to find the babies heartbeat and wasn’t able to find it. She’s being sent for an ultrasound.

Has anyone ever had that experience and baby just be hiding?

I told her that babe is still so small right now that he/she is probably just hiding and we’ll pray that everything is ok 💗
