Trying JUNE cup...
Documenting my experience with June cup:
Today was my first day trying it! I first washed it out with hot water and a odorless soap, then dried it. I felt like putting it in during a shower was the safest bet for my first time using it. I folded it up into an insertable size, then relaxed and popped that baby in. It was surprisingly easy, especially since (tmi?) I’m not a virgin- but I did freak out a little bit because I was scared I wouldn’t be able to get it out! I quieted my anxiety by watching another video on how to get the cup out properly. I also put on a panty liner since a lot of people say cups are a learning curve and have the possibility of leaking. Currently on my 3rd hour of using it and it’s so comfortable! I haven’t felt it at all, and I don’t think I’ve leaked or anything. I’m really excited to see how long it lasts comfortably, and I’ll probably empty it in the shower later tonight since these baby’s can be in there for 12 hours :)
5th hour: it leaked! Oops, I guess I put it in wrong? I’m planning on changing it when I get home :/
6th hour: Finally got home! And emptied it in the shower because I didn’t trust myself to empty it into the toilet since I was leaking pretty bad. I got it out anD WOW 😳 why was there sm blood in there holy crap, no wonder it was leaking! Jeez :/ I’m grossed out a little easily, so that was really yuck for me. I’m sure I’ll get used to it though- this is definitely way more of a personal thing than I originally thought. I still like it though, it’s just supposed to last a lot longer, huh?
