March Mamas - Baby Shower?!???

What the heck are you all doing for your baby showers and when?? I really want a “real” baby shower as this is my first baby. But covid is really ruining things. What are you all planning on doing and when?

Not worth the stress in planning something right now.  We’re waiting until this pandemic is on its way out and doing something hopefully next summer when things are safer:  either a post-baby shower or a “sip and see” where everyone can meet the baby.

Everyone is having theirs so early. 😳 Now I feel way behind. We decided to do it the first weekend in February due to the fact that January most people are trying to financially catch up from Christmas. I’ll be 36 weeks 🙀

Mine is on 9 Jan and I’m due 6 March.. having mine a bit early to incorporate some family.. but I’m in Australia and we’re basically covid free so am free to do a proper shower

I am having a regular one. I am just doing it in a big enough space so everyone can have distance. Also my first. I am doing mine January 16 im due March 16.

Thinking about doing a drive by/virtual. Numbers in my area are sky rocketing so just waiting for all the restrictions to kick back in. 😔

I’m still unsure. I see everyone around me doing bridal showers, baby showers and all! But I’m so nervous like. What if my baby shower is the reason a bunch of people come down with COVID? 😩

I am in limbo right now. Currently waiting until December 8th to see whether or not our governor is going to extend our stay at home orders for even longer.
If she doesn’t- I plan on having a “real” baby shower in a big enough space and provide masks for anyone who wants to wear them.
If she extends it- I’m going to have 15/20 close friends and family at my house and do a virtual shower. I plan on sending out games with the invitations to those who will be participating from afar.

Doing a drive by baby shower on January 16. First time mom and due March 2. I figured with COVID, a drive by shower was a safe bet. Made a Facebook event and going to post games for people to play on there before the shower and give a gift during the drive by shower. Also doing a diaper raffle where I’ll post the results on Facebook.
