Babylist or Store Registries?

Question

I like that Babylist lets you combine everything, but have heard it’s harder to keep track of since items don’t disappear automatically when bought. I’m going back and forth on which is the best. Anyone have a particularly good or bad experience? What are you planning to do?

Babylist is weird to buy from in my opinion. I thought it was supposed to be easier for the person buying . But I  feel it’s easier on the person who you’re buying for . I made one on babylist but also have one through Amazon . You can add them on babylist so it’s all together but when purchasing It seems to take you from their site to the stores site to purchase so it was hard to buy more then one thing all together because they all came from different stores . Could been how she made hers though .

I think babylist is convenient for the person registering. That being said, I would consider who will be using the registry. My friend cautioned against babylist after she registered on babylist, but no one purchased anything off of it because they preferred traditional store registries. I chose target and Amazon to try to capture both audiences. Totally individual preference!

I do Babylist for my public registry (gifts from friends/family) and Amazon for personal registry (things I’ll buy myself). I like Babylist’s design and functionality, but Amazon has a bigger discount so I use both. No one had trouble with Babylist with my first pregnancy.

LOVED Babylist. It was nice for people to see the lowest prices on the items you wanted. I actually found it very easy and fun to do!
