Positive test after period ?

Question

Did anyone have a positive pregnancy test after a period? Not a missed period, like an actual period? I posted earlier on another group and some women said yes. I had a full fledged period last week, my LH was high this week so I just took a pregnancy test... 
Seeing the dr tomorrow but I'm so confused. 🥺

Yes! I had a super heavy 12 day period and 2 days later got a strong positive pregnancy test. I got an ultrasound the next day and there was baby, 9 weeks along. I'm now almost 33 weeks pregnant and she is doing great!

This happened to me in July. It ended up being a chemical pregnancy. 😢 I’m pregnant now with my 🌈 (around 5 weeks)!

That was not your period love! The bleeding you experienced must have been “breakthrough bleeding” you can’t have a “period” and be pregnant. You would lose your baby with your lining. The bleeding can seem very similar but breakthrough bleeding and a menstrual cycle are two completely different things. Definitely see your doctor and get bloodwork going and make sure your levels are rising!

I had moderate bleeding for 3 days right when my period was due and was pregnant. It was enough that I really thought I was on my period, but it was shorter than normal

*update* I was in fact pregnant. Hcg not increasing so likely miscarrying 😓
