So much happened today....

First off, has anyone had their doc just randomly change their due date before? Originally it was the 21st, inducing a week early, and he changed it to the 26th. He added another week to it without even saying anything. It’s besides the point now with what happened today but I’m just curious.

SO, had an appointment today. Two and a half hours long. Go in to just do a normal cervix check and go. Doctor decided he wanted to do an ultrasound before that, he was looking at baby girl and said he couldn’t get the images he wanted and that she wouldn’t stir. Obviously that worried me. She’s fine though. Doc had me go for a walk, nothing. Put me on the monitors for 45 minutes and found out I was having regular contractions, and that she just needed some chocolate to encourage her to move.

Doctor got his pics, and said due to my blood pressure being unpredictable that we are inducing next week.

I’m now waiting for a call to tell me what day and time. I’m super freaking excited, don’t get me wrong, but I’m also so nervous it’s crazy.
