Successful pregnancy after blighted ovum?

Hi everyone, was just wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on this subject. I found out I was pregnant last march. I had many symptoms of pregnancy (swollen breasts,frequent urination,fatigue etc). I went in for my first ultrasound at 7w3d sooo excited. The doctor said she could see an "irregular looking" gestational sack but no fetal pole/hb. I was devastated. Such an awful way to find out when I was so excited to see my baby that there is nothing there. She drew my hcg level and had me do another blood draw in 3 days as well as scheduled me for an additional US in 1 week. My hcg came back close to 75,000 then in 3 days it went up to 76,000 no where near doubling like it should be doing. When I went back for the us I was almost 9 weeks. We still saw nothing so it was confirmed to be a blighted ovum. I had a d&c at week 11. It took almost 9 weeks for my cycle to return after that. I waited one cycle and then we tried again. We got pregnant on our first try and I am currently 5w2d. I have an early scan at 6w exactly and I am sooo beyond nervous. I can't sleep at night. I google incessantly, I keep taking pregnancy tests to see if the line is getting darker(which it is a bit). I'm also a bit worried I also don't have any symptoms this time around which is weird. Last time I felt lots of symptoms, but then again it wasn't a viable pregnancy so I don't know what to think. I'm also worried that 6 weeks is a bit too early to see much but the waiting is killing me. Does anyone have a similar experience? I'm just trying to make it a few more days till I find out and it's so hard. Any encouraging stories about successful pregnancies after blighted ovums? This was my first pregnancy by the way. I had a blighted ovum a year ago . I went through everything you mentioned as well . I worry and think a lot but I also leave everything in god hands and say this is my rainbow baby from god again after a year of hurt . With my my blighted ovum never got to see a heartbeat . With this pregnancy ive seen a heartbeat twice and im 9weeks 4 days ..

I had a blighted ovum in June and got pregnant again in July. After blood work confirmed the pregnancy I was put on progesterone. Tomorrow I will be 14 weeks!

I had a blighted ovum last June. Never saw a heartbeat.  Never saw bhcg levels go up at all, only down. Got pregnant in 3 cycles and am now 24 weeks with s healthy baby boy!! There is hope!!

I've had 3 m/c. My first and last ones happened very quickly after the BFP and my second was a blighted ovum. I had completely given up all hope and put it out of mind. A year later, almost to the day, I found out I was pregnant. I had an appointment in July because it was the second month in a row I missed my period so I took a test not thinking much and instantly there was a dark line. I didn't hold much hope but here I am 9 weeks later with a healthy baby growing inside of me and making my life hell. I never believed people when they told me it will happen when it's supposed to or that I'm just not at the right time in my life. I'm not sure what you believe in or if you are religious or not. But religion aside I believe everything happens for a reason It's very hard to think about right after you suffer a loss but when that healthy baby finally comes for you it will be the most perfect and beautiful child. One day, looking back, it will all make sense.

I've had 3 miscarriages. My last 2 pregnancies we didn't see anything in the sac. After my 3rd miscarriage I went to a fertility clinic. Got pregnant unexpectedly, I got on progesterone right away and I've been monitored very close, I've had 3 ultrasounds already and I went for bloodwork every 3 days for like 2 weeks. I'm currently 6 weeks 2days, my baby is doing good and I fully believe that's it's because of god and the fact that I am on progesterone. Ask them to run your progesterone along with your hcg. You might have to be on progesterone suppliments.

I had a BO with my first pregnancy in early 2015. I found out at my 12 week scan.  It was absolutely horrible.  I still felt very pregnant, although my symptoms had decreased.  I got pregnant again in that fall, and miscarried around 6 weeks.  Again, absolutely devastating.  But I got pregnant again in December 2015 and currently have an absolutely gorgeous and wonderful 9-month-old baby girl!!  Try not to stress, although I KNOW how hard that is to do.  I tried to restrict my stressing to only certain times of the day (like in the car, or shower, or at the doctors).  That really helped.  Also, just keep in mind the baby can feel that stress!!!  So just try to kick up your feet, relax, and enjoy this pregnancy AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!  You're going to be worrying about this baby for the rest of your life, so get used to it. And, btw, CONGRATULATIONS!!!  ☺️🎉🎈

I had one about 3 years ago,I didn't even know until I started bleeding heavy at 11weeks I had all regular pregnancy symptoms as well,that would of been middle of August,I got pregnant again end of September/October and bled the same time again which I was expecting the worst but baby was okay! He will be 2 in July and we're 21 weeks with baby number 2! I know it's hard to enjoy pregnancy after a loss,I walked on eggshells the whole time with my son,this one I was little more calm until I started bleeding at 18 weeks no idea why but now I'm back to walking on eggshells

Thanks so much for the encouragement and stories. I have an ultrasound with my husband in the morning so I'm hoping it will be ok. Just nervous. I really want this baby and can't immagine another loss.
