Hey! I recently noticed some interesting behavior in my cat, but I can't seem to find a reason for.

Long story short, my cat and I moved back in with my dad and she slowly warmed up to him, however, we've noticed that she goes to show him affection, but leaves his lap if she sees that I entered the same room and starts calling me to our room. What could be the reason? Why does she try to hide that she gets affection from someone else?

I find it quite funny.
