I’m 19, I’m a smoker (trying to quit) and I don’t know my family history at all. My dad is adopted and my birth mother isnt in my life. My GP said that the risk of blood clots at my age even being a smoker is pretty low about ( 3 in 1,000 ) and that I probably wouldn’t get one but I’m still so paranoid to the point where I’m off my birth control Because I’m so paranoid about heart attack, stroke or blood clots.

I’ve been trying to quit for months and have reduced how much I’m smoking from half a pack/a pack a day to less than 5 a day
