How many diapers?

So this is my first baby, just wondering how many diapers in each size I should plan on buying. And around how long did your babies stay in each size. TIA💖

Honestly, I wouldn’t bother stock piling a lot of diapers before your little one arrives. Just have a small pack of newborn and a pack or two of size 1 - possibly different brands in the size 1s. 
You won’t know what brand works best for your babe until after they arrive. My daughter couldn’t use pampers, they would burn her every time she would pee. I’ve seen other moms say their babies couldn’t use huggies for the same reason. 
I’ll also add that my daughter was in newborn diapers for maybe 4 days - and that was to use up what the hospital gave us. How many diapers baby will use in each size will depend on birth weight as well as how quickly they grow.

This is my second baby and I’m only buying one box of newborn and one box of size 1. I learned from my first baby that there’s no magic formula to calculate how many diapers you’ll need because babies all grow at such different rates, not to mention your baby might be sensitive so you might want to experiment with the brand that fits the best and doesn’t irritate her skin. Some babies do best with brands like Huggies, while others do better with Pampers or Luvs. It’s impossible to know! That being said, newborns typically go through 10-12 diapers per day and that slows down as they get older.

If you buy in advance, I suggest buy more 3 and up. Smaller ones don't get that much, and if needed more you can always buy more on the go.
The amount also depends on baby. Mine is like 6-7 diapers a day, but some kids take less and some take more.

A couple weeks in newborn. Around a month in size 1. Another month in size 2. And now she is a size 3 and will be in it for a while.
Size 1 starts at 8 lbs, so get more 1s and 2s. It might be a while until you get to 3s (but if you have a big baby like I do it will be faster then you realize).

I would only buy one box of new born tbh maybe three boxes size ones, after that its kinda up to growth rate
