Will sex hurt forever?

Every time my husband and I have sex, it feels like I’m being ripped apart or losing my virginity. We use lube and I guess it has improved some bc I can make it through without crying which I couldn’t before. I’m 12 weeks postpartum. Sex has never particularly felt good, I was hoping having a baby would help loosen me up. I’m afraid my vagina is going to be broken forever ☹️

I have the same problem! And I feel so bad for my SO because I’m actually afraid of having sex now. It never hurt like this before.

Often my first baby my vagina felt a lot tighter than before having a baby. Sex was pretty painful at first and it took a good 6+ months till things started feeling more normal. We just had to take it slow at first during every session until things ‘loosened’ up. Give it time ladies.

Same. I have scar tissue and my ob recommended perineal massages with coconut oil. She said it would stimulate blood flow and help heal the scar tissue.

Couldn’t agree more!  I’m 13 weeks PP and in the same boat.  It has slowly improved tho so that keeps me hopeful.  Just can’t say I enjoy it.
