Coconut oil as lube???

Question

I’ve used coconut oil for lubricant in the past with an ex but stopped because it would break down the rubber in the condoms. Just curious if any of you guys use coconut oil and if it’s safe, why you like/dislike it, etc😊 all answers welcome!

I wouldn’t use it. I’m pretty sure it’s not for internal use.

I was going to say do not use it with condoms, you’re better off with a water-based lube, silicone will also break it down to if you get a silicone-based one, make sure it’s water-based, nothing that heats up or is flavored, that’s an infection waiting to happen, clitoral stimulation is what will make you wet down there, so make sure that you are well aroused, and wet before he goes in because the last thing you need is tiny cuts in the skin because you want to dry and end up getting an infection. Something like an Astro glide, unfortunately with lube, it’s a process of elimination. Do you have to figure out what works best for you whether it’s one that says sensitive or one that says natural one that says whatever on the bottle, KY jelly, Astro glide, there’s so many different ones on the shelf. Whether you get one from a sex shop or you get one from target.

Well we were TTC for a veeeerrrrryyy long time so no condoms - so I have no experience using it with them/ how they react. 
But, it’s my favourite go to, I have to say. I like the smell and coconutty taste, you only need a little and it goes a long way and stays slippery and I noticed I hardly ever got sore or itchy (TMI sorry) after my husband finished inside me when using it - it also seems to delay him and make him 💦 harder too
