Faint line when held up to a light ?

I took a pregnancy test and Held it up to the night to see if there was a faint line and there was most definitely a positive line but only when held up to a light what does that mean ?

It depends. If it was a FRER there is a plastic ridge on the backside of the test that lines up directly with the test line. When you hold the test up to the light you see that coming through. 
You are also able to see the test line indent more easily on certain brands. All in all its not recommended to hold it up like that. 
Test again tomorrow!

Honestly. Holding it up to the light doesn't hurt the test or the results. If its there, its there. No changing it

Thats just part of the test. It is not a true positive.
