Skyla after 1 week
A week ago I had the Skyla put in. I'm 22 and never have been pregnant or had children.
The insurtion was not NEARLY as bad as I was expecting. It hurt a little, but passed quickly. That night and next morning I had some bad cramping, but tylonel helped. Since then I've had spotting every day- it's a dark color and light enough that a panty liner is enough.
Yesterday I wasn't feeling well and had more severe cramps than before and the blood was a bit thicker and more red. Before getting the IUD I had been on BC pills for about 2 weeks and they made me spot constantly- so basically I've been bleeding all of November and I'm a little thrown off.
My period tracker say I'm expected to have my period any day now...could this be my "period" arriving? And if it could be, will I have a break from bleeding after this?
I know everyone's body's react different, but just some ideas of what I could possibly expect or past experience stories would be great. :)
