China powers on the world’s first “artificial sun” 🔥☀️🔥

China successfully powered up its "artificial sun" nuclear fusion reactor for the first time, state media reported Friday. The reactor is 10x the temperature of the core of the Sun. The HL-2M Tokamak reactor is the largest and most advanced nuclear fusion experimental research device, and scientists hope that the device can potentially unlock a powerful clean energy source that could be used worldwide, eventually reaching the technology to heat regions of the world instead of solely relying on the actual sun.

However, some Chinese citizens express obvious concerns of using such powerful nuclear reactors, as with nuclear experimentation, the smallest error can result in cataclysmic explosions killing everything in its wake and rendering the surrounding areas uninhabitable for years due to radiation: eg. Chernobyl.
