You could have missed your surge, or you may have not surged yet. LH fluctuates constantly throughout your cycle.

Depends, if you have lots of ewcm you probably just missed catching the surge. If your cm is not fertile you probably haven't ovulated yet.

I think it’s recommended you test at least 2 times a day nearing a surge. I usually test 4 times.
