Okay so I’m type one diabetic and now 8w5d pregnant.

I’m starting a brand new job on Monday and they don’t know I’m pregnant yet...

How in the actual hell am I supposed to get the time off to go to all of these appointments while still keeping my job?! 😭

I have a 30 min phone appointment every 4 weeks with my endocrinologist, blood work appointments every 4 weeks, obgyn every month, ultrasounds monthly, and eye exams once each trimester.... 🤯

I need this new job for their health insurance and for extra income to prepare for baby... it’s an office job with a strict Monday-Friday 9-6pm shift, and all of the drs work Monday-Friday and the latest is open till 5pm 😭 idk how I’m meant to make this work?!

And when should I tell my new employer I’m pregnant? My partner and I haven’t told anyone at all yet, so I don’t really want my employer to be the first to know..

And I get that that can’t discriminate, but I feel like they can find other reasons to fire me if my pregnancy is inconveniencing them enough...
