So I want to be married, but it scares me. Probably for all the wrong reasons, but anyways.... I have medical insurance through the state and so does my child. Expecting twins so they have to have insurance as well, if I get married do I lose that? It’s not like either one of us make a whole bunch of money, but I’ve always heard that once you get married you do not qualify-even if it’s pennies you make over.

Before anyone says anything negative... I’m not living off the state, this is the only benefit i get, I work hard and we live a decent life, but still struggle. There is just no way that I could afford insurance at regular rates for us. My job does not offer it and I have looked into several different insurances-there just no way to swing it.

I need some advice ladies!
