First PP period?

Not complaining because I very much enjoyed the last almost 2 years period free, but coming up on my littles 1 year I got my period back. Wondering if anyone else’s first PP period was extremely long? Already a week straight and my old cycle lasted only 4 days.

I’ve only had 2, and they are 7-9 days & insanely heavy.

My postpartum periods have been weird. Like, the last one I had was heavy for a couple days then sort of spotty for almost a week. 
My sister had a (very uncool and life-threatening emergency) hysterectomy when her daughter was born this past June and while I'm not at all jealous of her emotional trauma and the physical recovery she had to go through, I'm definitely pretty jealous she never has to have periods again! (We are both done having kids, fortunately she wanted to stop at 2 anyway)

I’m on day 8. But it’s mostly spotting. Before my periods were only about 6-7 days long. But this time I don’t have any cramping. But my strong craving for chocolate milk is back.

I had one period then got pregnant with number two. It was a good way to postpone lol
