Flange sizing
Any tips on getting a good fit when you have an odd-shaped nipple to work with? Leftie (aka slacker boob) is a little misshapen due to a small growth. The nippe is bigger at the point than it is at the base. Sort of tear-drop shaped rather than circular.
If I use a flange that is big enough to not squish the top, its too big to properly pump at the base and pulls in too much of the areola. If I fit the flange to the base, the top part gets squished and I don't get the proper suction and movement to really empty the breast.
Any tips? I'm sure I can't be the only mama with an odd shape that causes sizing issues.
