Masks during labour
I just received an email from my midwives alerting clients that the hospitals in my area are now requiring masks to be worn the ENTIRE time during labour.
I am a mask wearing, and very adamant at that. But I literally cannot imagine trying to breath and wear a mask during labour. I am HOPING this changes by April. It even states in the email that it would be their requirement during home births too.
Anyone else have these requirements?
