What age will you start baby on baby food

What age are you guys planning on weaning onto baby food ? My pediatrician said 6 months but I’ve seen some ladies start as low as 3 months. 
  !! Edit - no I’m not taking random ladies advice haha, just curious to know (:

Do not start at 3mo. There is no nutritional value to them rn they need milk/formula. Their bowels and gi track are not ready for that. You should listen to your Dr over a bunch of random people

My pediatrician told us he will have us start introducing baby food to our son at 4 months. He said since he’s a big boy (15 pounds at 2 month appointment) that he can start at 4. He thinks it’ll be beneficial for him and his reflux as well.

It totally depends on the baby in my opinion.  My son was so ready at 3.5 months.  My daughter has no interest or signs of being ready and seems content and full on formula.  Use your mom gut, you will know!

My doctor recommend anywhere between 4-6 months. She said it depends on the baby. If baby shows interest in my food etc. Around four months she said we could try starting some pureed fruits and veggies. Every baby is different

6 months. We did baby led weaning with our first. I think we might do more traditional baby purées this time because blw is so messy 😂

6 mos but maybe a little taste here and there of puree around 5 months if he’s showing other signs of readiness (sitting well, good head control, doesn’t just thrust the food out of his mouth, etc) we will start with something like sweet potatoes, apples or banana.
