What kind of twins am I having?

I just found out on Monday that I am having twins! Now I've been doing my research and am scared of TTT and vanishing twin syndrome. But they didn't tell me what kind of twins I am having! Any guesses??

THAT DOES NOT MEAN FRATERNAL! Di/di twins are the ONLY type of twin that can be fraternal OR identical. 30% of di/di twins are identical. 
Di/di twins are considered the lowest risk.

Fraternal. I’ve been thru vanishing twin syndrome twice. Got pregnant with triplets twice and I have a set of twins. Just found out yesterday I’m pregnant so Of course I’m wondering too. A lot of women don’t know about it or that they have experienced it as by the time they have their first scan, the other baby or babies are gone. Now that scans are happening earlier these days, people are finding out about it. Usually happens before 8-9 weeks. But those are fraternal. No TTTS in fraternal usually. Not like with identical. Fraternal a have their own sac and own placenta. Sometimes they fuse together but should still support each baby separately.

Thank you for sharing all this ladies. It answers so many questions that I had but just kept inside. I too am having twins after losing my son 7 years ago. They are both boys and in separate sacs 😍 I already love my boys and everyday I'm anxious about their health. I'm glad we have this platform to share👏
