Feeding duration for a newborn
Since my milk came in my newborn will nurse from one side for about 5-10 minutes and then spit the nipple out and go to sleep. Is this long enough for her to get what she needs? She will sleep well and goes 3 hours in between feeds. If I offer the second breast she will take it and nurse for up to 5 minutes before spitting it out and sleeping.
