I’m having my birth at the birth center. I can’t wait to have baby girl in the birthing tub.

I hate the hospital and I know there ARE ways to do safe home births, but I'm way too risk-averse. I would have died at birth if not for the staff and resources available at the hospital, so for me, there's no question.
Absolutely no judgement to those doing a home birth though!! Everyone needs to weigh the risks and benefits for themselves, and be comfortable with that decision.
I would consider a compromise and do a birthing center rather than a traditional hospital, but unfortunately, my doctor only delivers at one specific hospital, and I really like my doctor. Oh well. 🤷‍♀️

I dont have a preference but my husband is really anxious about delivery so he really wants a hospital birth, so i am going to put him at ease.

This will be my 4th baby and first home birth. I’ve had 3 easy vaginal births in the hospital, I’m excited to have 1 at home

I’d love to do a home birth but my state has janky laws about midwives so it wouldn’t be covered by insurance and I can’t afford to pay out of pocket for that. Orrr it would be an unsupervised birth, which makes me nervous as hell bc 1. I have anxiety and 2. This is my first time

I put yes, but it’s a probably yes. It’s either going to be at home or in the birth room at my midwife’s office (which is a renovated Victorian, so the room is a spacious bedroom with a birthing tub and attached bathroom).
