The dreaded first poo..... (READ)

Steph

Girls !!!!!!!

Your first poop doesn’t need to be painful like everyone says it will be 🙄🙄..

I did it, I can’t believe it 😂

4 days after giving birth I finally managed to go to the loo.

I had a very traumatic birth ending in forceps, episiotomy, 3 tears and then emergency c section and let me tell you , that poo I’ve been dreading for days was such a good experience (if you can ever say that about a poo 😂🤷‍♀️).. the horrible c section wind has disappeared completely!!

Tips :

1) make sure they prescribe you lactose (god send)

2) drink plenty of water constantly

3) eat loads of fruit and veggies

4) DO NOT PUSH!!!! You don’t need to.. I can’t explain it but just kind of open like you’re gonna start a poo, but without the pushing.. your body just does it itself!

5) if you have the dreaded c section wind, drink plenty of peppermint tea, it really helps

6) give yourself plenty of time! I was in there a good half an hour

7) be as mobile as possible, it helps move things along

Hope I helped and reassured you lovely girls. I honestly thought it was gonna be so painful and it wasn’t one bit, not even a sting and the relief is immense lol.. I feel like a new woman 😂😂❤️
