My daughters dad is throwing her a little party and wants me to come. He has threatened to harm my boyfriend if I bring him because he is “still in love with me” I didn’t plan to bring my boyfriend but him threatening my boyfriend makes me not wanna go. Going on 2 and a half years we haven’t been together. I want to go for my daughter but don’t wanna hear about how I should be with him because none of my friends or family is going.

It’s not an issue that he doesn’t want your bf there I guess, but why is the issue. If he’s still “so in love with you that he will physically harm your bf” at his young daughters birthday party........ you going is not going to show her anything other than men can coerce women to do what they want with violence. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Children pick up on more than adults think they do. 
 It’s obviously not a healthy co-parenting relationship right now and I would just throw her my own party. It takes two to successfully co-parent and he’s obviously not ready right now. I would tell him to work on his issues and maybe you can try again next year for a joint party.
