Anyone else feeling gender disappointment? We have a 3 year old girl and just found out we are having another girl. I really wanted to be a boy mom.

Yes. I was very upset my second was another boy. But once he was here it all changed! I’m now having a little girl, thankfully!

Same boat. Although I have a girl already and really wanted to give her a sister but we are having a boat. I was so sure this one was a girl too because the pregnancies have been almost exactly the same.

Totally get it. First two were girls and I was sad when I found out my second wasn’t going to be a boy - I had been so sure after the morning sickness was different. Honestly, once she came I couldn’t care less. She is such a tender girl, so different from her tough big sister that I realized I didn’t care if I didn’t get the different experience of a boy. My second was enough of a change to keep my life interesting.

I haven’t with this pregnancy, yet. I have 3 biological boys, so I understand the disappointment when you have another baby of the same gender when you wanted the opposite. With this pregnancy, I have just accepted that it will more than likely be a boy. At the end of the day, I just hope for a healthy baby.
