TTC #2... technically #3

Hi all! I’ve been a member for a while, but haven’t been active in over 2 years. I’m back now as a 30 year old and married ☺️ A little about me: I have a 7 year old daughter who is feisty and very smart! My pregnancy with her was very difficult. I was pregnant with twins and carried them full term. At 37 weeks, one baby(her name was Bria), had passed away. So in 2013, I delivered 1 live baby and 1 stillborn at the same time. I was devastated! Fast forward to now- I met someone in 2017 and we are now married. He doesn’t have any kids of his own but really does want to start a family. He treats my daughter very well and totally sees himself as a father.

With that said, I stopped my BC pills last month. I started taking Vitex and the “Conception” pills to help boost fertility and kick off my period since it wasn’t starting on its own. Yesterday(CD 1) my AF finally showed up and it’s making me super excited. Now I know my body is functioning as it should to prepare for a baby. We are taking a trip with my family to the cabins in GA for Christmas this year. Based on calculations from this app, that trip is in my fertile window and my ovulation day is January 1st.

It’ll be difficult for us to BD during the trip even though the cabin is huge. But I have a special night planned for us on New Year’s eve. Something sexy and sensual for the two of us. We will definitely be bumpin uglies the entire night and ringing 2021 one in that way. LOL. Besides the Vitex I also ordered the fertility kit from PreMom. The one that has the bbt thermometer that connects to the app and comes with ovulation tests. I’m going to be taking my bbt once it comes so I can at least get an idea of how my O dates align. It would be nice to get pregnant on the new year, but if we don’t it’s fine. I’m going to try to be as laid back as possible with this. Don’t want to over stress when it doesn’t happen when I want it to. I also want this to be fun for us and not too serious.
