Am I going to be going into labor soon?

Hey mamas I have a question I’m 36 weeks and 4 days. I just had a gynecologist appointment and they tell me I’m measuring at 40 weeks, I am a first time mom and all of this is new to me is it normal or is it he’s just brown because I don’t get enough information from my gyno so if anyone has any advice it’d be highly appreciated thank you

Is your fundal height measuring 40 weeks? Or are the measuring baby by ultrasound? Both can be off but fundal height doesn’t mean baby is necessarily big. You can have excess fluid, could have just gained extra weight etc. And measuring ahead still doesn’t mean baby is done cooking or ready to come yet.
