In short I have a crush on a guy, I followed him on IG(public account he has 1000+ followers), then he never followed me back. Tbf he does not know me, though sometimes I do make eye contact, but then again my profile picture is not visibly showing my face(my is acc is priv)

So obviously you know I want him to follow me cause I want him to see my posts and just start talking, but how should I go about this. Should I unfollow and then follow again so it pops up and my face is visible(or is that kind of showing desperation)? Please offer me some help on what to do next thank youu.
