Im 22 at 5ft 1 and I was 220lbs at the beginning of this year in February, I started with a small workout with one of these and then added more workouts as the months went by. like 30 push-ups, 30 sit ups, a 2 minute plank, 2 minute wall sit, 30 squats, used a case of water and did a "bench press" 30 times, 30 bicycles, 30 crunches (on each side and center), 30 back crunches (on your stomach while lifting your legs and arms off the ground), 30 spred leg squats, 30 bicep push-ups. Small and easy workouts. Then I always stretch after. I dont know much about workouts (as you can tell by my names for them lol) but it worked for me. I am not down to 150. Thats 70lbs lost in 10 months! I am smaller now than i was in high-school. You can do it!! Its worth every drop of sweat, I actually feel sexy and am starting to like myself. Sometimes you just need someone helping you out! We can all keep in touch with you to keep your goals!

Once you get those you basically find the perfect plan for your body and not some crap diets like keto that may not be the best for your particular body. You need to find out what works for you. I am sensitive to calories, not any particular food but just how much I eat it. So that was a big help into planning my changes to my eating. Also learned that diets are intended to fail, but a permanent change is what will get you to succeed and keep you their.

So basically you ask for a Carbohydrate tolerance test, also a Protein status test, then Vitamin/mineral/acid/base status tests

I second the YouTube workout suggestion. I also use an app called FitOn, they have tons of free workouts and so many different types. You can focus on specific trainers, body areas, and types of workouts (Pilates, HIIT, cardio, etc.). And honestly what you eat goes a long way too. I’m not suggesting a fad diet or something but preparing food at home, eating more veggies and cutting out unnecessary options (soda, juice, too much greasy food) really helped me lose weight and tone up

I hated doing exercise so do something you enjoy! I love music so I picked up Zumba! You can do it at home or it can be any other kind of dancing as long as you’re moving! If you like bikes then go on a bike ride in your neighborhood or if you like swimming that’s a great full body workout! Once you see the results there is no stopping you! Drink more water and try to cut out so much bread and pastas and sugars! Good luck we are rooting for you! Plus I was also 200 lbs at ages 20-24 but did keto and Zumba and lost 40 lbs

Hey lovie! Try and keep yourself from “diets”. Negative and constricting words keep ourselves from staying on task and being productive. Simple changes can make a huge difference in weight loss: 1. Increase your water intake - drinking 6-8 bottles of water throughout the day is great! If you are extremely active or standing/walking all day then try and get close to a gallon of water a day. 2. Watch your carb intake. Cut down on breads especially. If you want a sandwich, go for whole grains or 9 grain breads. If you’re not able to get anything but fast food, order your burgers without the bun and double meat. 3. Increase your proteins and your veggies. Your serving size/ration should be 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 starch/carbs 4. Sugar and salts. Sugar from fruit is a great intake source. Apples and bananas are perfect. Oranges are good especially before seasons change - as they help with immune system defenses. Salt is a HUGE player in retaining water weight. Paying a close attention to how much salt you’re ingesting will help. 5. Cardio is a great start to weight loss. Then introduce body weight workouts. If you need anything else, feel free to message me!! And remember - things take time. Enjoy your journey and stay positive💗

Start small: drink more water, cut out drinks with sugar, eat more veggies and less processed carbs (less bread, pastries, junk food). If your diet is bad, just that should help you shed a few pounds within the first couple of weeks. Add exercise you can do at home. Take walks, start jogging a bit in between the walks. You can find exercise videos on YouTube. Find someone who is engaging and can keep you motivated on YouTube. I got bored and found "Kukuwa African Dance", they have short fun 15 min dance videos. There are also lots of free workout apps too. Baby steps but make it a point to be conscious of what you eat daily, that is what makes or breaks a weight loss journey. Dont starve yourself just change what you eat to be healthier. What helps is to try and eat mostly foods that aren't packaged like veggies, unprocessed meats, fruit, nuts, beans (not canned).

Is there a planet fitness in your area? It cost $10 a month for a basic membership. You could also try noom, a weight loss/fitness program that will design a program for you based on science to help you change your behavior and lose weight. Exercise at least 30-60 minutes a day. You can dance, walk, jump rope just as long as you are getting some kind of physical activity. Examine your diet. What foods are you eating? Try to incorporate more fruits/vegetables into your diet. Try JJ Smith's 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse. Lizzo tried too. I also did this when I was having digestive issues and it helped me reset my diet. Drink more water. Half your weight in water (oz). Check youtube for some good vegan/plant based recipes to incorporate into your diet. Change the way you are cooking food or ordering out. For example, instead of fried fish or fried chicken try grilled, baked, broiled, boiled, steamed.

Also set little small goals. For example, next week I'm going to lose 2 lbs. Then the next week 5 lbs. That way you dont lose motivation.
