Does anyone know what causes acne on the chest/neck area?

I’ve managed to almost cure my horrible hormonal acne on my face with vitex but now I’m getting pimples on my chest and neck area! Is this caused by something specific? How can I cure it :)

Random product but my friend used to get acne on her shoulders from her hair products. Maybe it could be caused by something like that?

It's a hormone issue I suffer with it daily my chin neck and back arms shoulders

Cut out the dairy. My son's acne stopped and his face is clear now because we replaced our milk with almond milk. Everyone will be bummed out at first but they get used to it and after a while they don't care anymore. 
If you are already dairy free then maybe some of the other recommendations would be helpful. 
I find that cleaning my sheets and pillowcases often is a big game changer too. Keep a few sets and switch out every night. Also, I clean my face at night but not in the morning. Before I would strip my face of the natural oils and it would be super dry. Now I just wipe with a damp rag and apply moisturizer. I get one light pimple right before my period but that's it.

Hi! Im a future esthetician & would love to help! You need something with Salicylic, Lactic or Glycolic acid in it. The Ordinary, Mad Hippie and Cerave are really good products. Trying to see what your skin likes is definitely trial and error. And always remember your skin will get worse before it gets better!

It might be fungal acne. Google pityrosporum acne and see if yours looks likes that. It also gets itchy if when you sweat.

Do you spray perfume on your chest? This causes my break outs here. Didn’t realise until a friend told me and I stopped doing it and it completely cleared up

Using Hemp lotion after showering on a daily helped me clear all skin and looking healthy. I especially would recommend you using Hemp lotion that's mixed with coconut oil and argan oil.

Following because I have neck and shoulder acne. I try to exfoliate and moisture more and use toner, but nothing has cleared it yet. I use mostly paraben and sulfate free products too.

Its just your bodys excess oils building up, also could be from your hair if its long enough to touch your shoulders. Use a face wipe or exfoliate the area weekly. I have this same problem and this always works

I changed my detergent! I saw some improvement. I say to use scent free detergent and see if they works
