Any July due dates in the UK?

Question

I am due July 31st but have no idea at what stages doctors do scans or anything? I have an appointment tomorrow but when does it all kick off. In America I think they test a bit earlier. Can anyone let me know any info that would be great. I'm flying to San Francisco at 7 weeks and wanted to know if they check you before that.

Hi! I'm from Walsall and 4wks 6days! I've already had a dating scan ( as miscarried in July and not had regular periods since) nothing was on it, but bloods showed hcg rising nicely...it was just too early to tell! I'm having another scan around 6 weeks to check everything is ok (again due to the miscarriage I had at 7 weeks) nothing will show on a scan until at least 6 weeks...so if you are paying for an early scan I would wait around 7-8 weeks to be sure! But your first proper scan will be between 11-13 weeka! Good luck ladies!xxx

I'm a UK mum to be! Due 22nd July! 
Hate that we have to wait so long for the first scan!! Might book in for a private one for peace of mind!

11-13 weeks NT scan
16 week midwife appointment (think you heart baby heartbeat at this one)
20 week anatomy scan(can find out gender)
I can't recall the rest but there's a few more small appointments and measurements of bump x

Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't have a clue. Thanks to those who do and have given me an idea of what to expect, Lucy I think I will follow suit and book an early scan before I fly to USA for Christmas. Can't believe so many due end July. Xx

I'm from Birmingham and I'm due on July 30th as well, I'm only for my first month and I haven't had any scans yet, does anyone know when the first scans will be?

I see my midwife for the first time next Friday (when I will be 6w 5d) and I can't believe my first scan will only be in January! I'm trying to get a private one in when I'm 7 weeks for just my mum and dad (and inlaws) but it still feels like a long way away. I feel anxious for not getting to see a midwife yet and I have nobody to talk to if I don't feel right 😕

I'm from London having baby #1 estimated 15th July 2016. Not to sure about scans yet but I've got my first midwifes appointment at 8w6d. I think it might depend on ur doctor.  Hope that helps x

I'm from Nottingham - Due 19th July, bit got my first midwife appt till Dec 29th, at 11 weeks! I wonder why some people have theirs so much earlier?!

Hi congratulations! I'm from Manchester and I'm due 4th July. I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on 9th December when they will give me my scan dates. I've also booked a private scan which is on Saturday as I can't wait any longer.  First scan is usually around 12 weeks. Xxx
