do i need a higher dose of birth control?

so this month i got my period 3 days before the end of my pill pack which i thought was weird but it got even weirder... i’m on day 7 of my period when i normally bleed for 4 days and the blood and clots are still quite heavy. i’m on the lowest dose of birth control, could it be time to change to a higher dosage?

ive been on the pill for 10 months now and normally get my withdrawal bleed on the 2-3 day of my break week
