I had a cyst rupture on my ovulation day and knew exactly what it was. I was ok besides horrible pain and weird discharge for a few days, until 4 days after the rupture when I started bleeding. I’ve had 4 cysts rupture on me before and I’ve never had bleeding afterwards. Well now it’s 10 days post rupture and I’m still bleeding bright red blood each morning for about an hour and then nothing again until the next morning. It’s like a gush for 10 minutes and then it lets up!! I called the doctor but she said she didn’t think I needed to come in unless I soaked through a pad or super tampon in an hour and told me it’s probably normal so I’m a little confused. I’ve been scouring this app for anyone with a situation like mine. If I continue bleeding each day (even if only for an hour!), I will call my doctor again and demand an appointment. I’m just wondering if it’s normal to bleed after a rupture and especially for this long, albeit just an hour or two a day? Thanks!
