I went to the ER Friday December 11 for some rib pain. They did blood work but my hcg didn’t come back while I was there. There was no concern for pregnancy because I just had a light period from 12/4-12/8.

Well I got home from the er and the doc called me an hour later and said my hcg came back positive. I took a test that night and I got what I think was a vvvfl. I have been testing everyday since Friday and it’s still vvvf. Is this normal? What do y’all think? Has anyone experienced any of this before? I was in shocked when the doc called me, but now I’m excited and just waiting to see a proper second line.
